Bear Hands Pottery Studio Membership Studio memberships are designed for potters who need access to equipment and a place to work. Our members are hobbyists, artists, students, and anyone who wants to enjoy working with clay.
One of the best things about Art &Materials Bear Hands Pottery Studio is community; working with others in a mutually respectful, friendly environment.

Requirements:
- All new members need to read and sign the studio membership agreement.
- Respect other people’s work, space and time (this means not touching others’ work, or interrupting them while working).
- You must be an 21 or older to hold a membership.
- You must have taken at least one pottery class outside of high school (in other words be able to work independently and safely on our equipment).
- Clean up after yourself and leave the area nice for the next person.
- Clay must be purchased at Art &Materials if it is to be fired in our kilns.
- Glazes that are not from our studio or store must be lead free and rated at least cone 6.
- Members may not come in during scheduled classes unless they have made arrangements with instructor.
- Members buy their own materials, clay and tools.
- All materials used in our kilns must be approved
- No leaded materials allowed in studio
- Special firings or raku firings are an extra fee
